Letter to Santa

the one known only as 'The BadgerHeart Girl'

Here is the final shot 10, without the music obviously,

the complete animation will be finished in about a month

now, and it's all coming together! I know I only seem

to post bits of this shot here, but it's a nice one that doesn't

give too much away and is small enough to upload.

... what? I hear you ask on seeing these. Well, to explain, sometimes

an artist needs to wait for the computer to render files for a minute, and

still has the cut frames that weren't good enough to use next to him.

So while I waited I modified the two mistake frames to the

two opposites of the BadgerHeart girl... evil and man.

Business Card Idea

First acceptable business card design, I might need to make the text

bigger and I'll play around with the image or draw a new

one specifically but I like this style. I know black will be more expensive

also but black's so classic!

ALONE

This is a short piece of writing I've created from the perspective of a school boy who felt completely alone and wasted in the world, he hates everything but desperately wants something he can bring himself to love.

Jen and Nick Project

I don't want to ruin too much until it's finished but I am currently working on a creative writing project with Jennifer Egan from Ireland over msn. I had noticed that she wrote quite poetically so I thought it would be brilliant to write a short story between us, and the way we've decided to write it I feel is very innovative. It's about the relationship of two intimate friends who can't speak, written in first person but switching between the two characters. Here is the first paragraph of the boy thinking

"The rain is so heavy that I can feel it pressing down. Last time I set foot over these pebbles was over two years ago. It looks so different to how I remember, but of course I’m bigger now, and it’s completely empty and grey. I’ve never really liked the seaside; it’s associated with too many empty pleasures. Getting wet isn’t so fun either, but I guess at least this way the beach isn’t lying, and it does look beautiful. An ethereal whiteness, decorated only with myself, the pebbles beneath and the front claws of the sea. The sea laps closer to me, outward from its misty hide, as if this rain and wind was here to herald the approach of this much mightier beast. To stand alone in face of such a thing while it roars and stumbles in, I guess that’s what makes my life mine, and no one else’s."

This is the Novel I've been working on for years on and off in my spare time, it's progessed when I've the luxury of spending that much time on it and has been proof read by quite a few people. It's not finished yet but there's enough to get stuck into

Animatic and Music

Really this should be uploaded to the BadgerHeart blogsite,

but I'm getting too many errors when I try and it's important that

one of the team members has access to this video. Also

concerning the BadgerHeart blogsite, the team is currently

making a new one to put everyone's work on instead

of having a site each, I'll update the link when it's ready :)
